Morganite is a member of the Beryl family of gemstones.
Morganite is also sometimes referred to as "pink Emerald"
Morganite colours can range from peach to peachy pink to pink.  It is widely used in jewellery and is usually set in rose gold or red gold as these metals compliment the colour of Morganite.
Morganite has a hardness of 7.5 to 8.0 on the Mohs hardness scale. This makes Morganite a good candidate to use in jewellery like rings, pendants, bracelets and earrings.
