Service Description
The intermediate three day hand engraving course covers intermediate scroll design where students learn how to draw more complex scroll designs with elements like intertwining scrolls and compound leaf shapes. Inlay techniques for borders and flare cutting is also covered. Students will have the opportunity to practice these techniques on a mild steel test plate. Upon completion of the course students receive a certificate and the test plate they cut during the course. Cost of the course is R5000 ZAR or $340 USD.
